6-Day Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins as you depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National park. After a refreshing drive of approximately 3.5 to 4 hours (about 210 km), you'll enter Tarangire National Park—famous for its mighty baobab trees and massive elephant herds. Take in the sweeping landscapes and keep your eyes peeled for zebras, giraffes, and lions lounging under acacias.

In the evening, transfer to Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. This comfortable lodge offers a serene atmosphere with traditional African charm, perfect for relaxing after your first day of exploration.

Day 2: Journey to Serengeti National Park

Wake up early for a full day exploring Serengeti's wildlife-rich landscapes. Traverse the Seronera Valley, where lions laze on rocky outcrops, leopards lurk in acacia trees, and herds stretch across the plains. Every moment is a new discovery.

Return to Kontiki Tented Lodge, where a warm meal and the friendly camp team await. End the day around the fire, listening to the distant roars of the Serengeti's wild residents.

Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Return to Kontiki Tented Lodge, where a warm meal and the friendly camp team await. End the day around the fire, listening to the distant roars of the Serengeti's wild residents.

Day 4: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Serengeti, then begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes about 3 to 4 hours (approximately 145 km).

Tonight, you'll stay at Embalakai Camp, nestled in the lush highlands. Cozy up in your tent and savor a warm meal, with misty mountain views completing the experience.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast, descend to the Ngorongoro crater/caldera floor for a game drive among rhinos, elephants, and flamingos that line the lake shore. It's a wildlife wonderland, surrounded by dramatic crater walls.

Following the crater tour, return to Arusha for an overnight stay at A1 Hotel, a modern and convenient hotel perfect for unwinding after your safari.

Day 6: Arusha City Tour - Departure

Spend your final day exploring Arusha with a guided city tour. Visit local markets, cultural sites, or the Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre to pick up souvenirs and gain insights into Tanzania life.

At the appropriate time, you'll be transferred to the airport for your departure, marking the end of an unforgettable journey through Tanzania's wild wonders.
